Charlevoix to Pellston, Traverse City and DTW

Pellston Regional Airport (PLN) is about 35 miles northeast, and Cherry Capital Airport (TVC) in Traverse City is about 55 miles southwest. Both have commercial flights, and we meet arrivals at either. Charlevoix Municipal Airport serves private aircraft.

Pellston is the closest choice for most Charlevoix travelers, but Traverse City often has more flights and nonstop routes. We drive to both and can help you compare drive time with flight options.

For PLN or TVC departures, plan pickup about 2 hours before a domestic flight. For DTW, plan about 6 hours to allow for the long drive and security, and tell us if you want a meal stop along the way.
